This is a good article by Ragav Jagannathan that explains some of the compatibility issues that can arise after migrating MOSS 2007 sites to a SharePoint 2010 Environment.
Ragav was able to fix his compatibility and list corruption issues, but some manual steps were taken to enable features on SharePoint sites, which are listed on the post.
